Album Recording Diary #6
We're heading into the final lap! This week, we've recorded the final lead vocal and guitar parts and we'll be focusing on final touch ups from here on out! After many months of hard work, we're nearly done and we can't wait to share Scars with you all!

Last Saturday, on April 6, 2024, we have officially played our last show with Dave as our bass guitarist. It was a fantastic, emotional and intimate show, filled with friends, family and bands that are close to our heart. Dave has been with us since the end of 2015 and we have played countless shows together in our homestate and around Europe. We will never forget any of these adventures and we will always hold them dear, just like the way Dave went out - near the end of our set, just before playing “Andy’s Diary”, Dave passed the bass guitar over to Lucas, who became our new bass guitarist in March, in a touching “passing of the torch” type of ceremony, forging our new lineup. We’d like to thank Dave for everything and we wish him omly the very best in his future endeavors! As for us, we’ll see you this summer! Keep checking the Tour Dates section for more info!

The Desperate Mind is a 4 member melodic hardcore / emo band, heavily influenced by seminal bands such as My Chemical Romance, The Architects, Beartooth, Stray From The Path and many more. With fast, aggressive, but at the same time melodic songs and energetic shows, the band continues to rock ever since 2011.
